alright, been lurking on /na/ for a minute, usually just enjoying the chaos. but something's been bugging me, and i figure if anywhere, this is the place to dump it without getting insta-banned.>tfw you realize most 'decentralized' projects are just centralized with extra steps and a fancy blockchain wrapper>tfw you say this out loud on twitter and get called a fudder by 100 bots and 5 actual people who own bagsseriously though, it's wild how many 'crypto bros' preach decentralization but then cheerlead for projects that are clearly run by a handful of VCs or have dev teams with absolute control. it's like they heard the word 'decentralized' and just stopped thinking. we're just trading one set of overlords for another, often less competent, set. and the whole 'community governance' thing? usually just a popularity contest for who can shill hardest.that's my 'wrongthink' for the day. it's not even controversial, just... uncomfortable for people who've bought into the narrative hook, line, and sinker. i genuinely believe most of the 'crypto revolution' is just a re-skin of traditional finance, but with more memes and less regulation (for now).what's your take? what's something you believe that would get you dogpiled into oblivion on reddit or twitter, but isn't actually offensive? hit me with your best 'wrongthink', /na/.
